Eating plants: Vegan recipes
I am super enthusiastic about experimenting in the Kitchen. I also have a passion for plant-based living, this post isn’t about preaching to you about becoming vegan. I would love to share with you some great recipes that I have come across from other bloggers. So no matter your lifestyle and food choices, give these awesome recipes a try! With the added benefit of showing the planet some love!

The Best Ever Banana Bread
I must start with this because it is seriously the best! It is a no-fail recipe and can be modified in many ways, different kinds of sugar, flour and oils. It is a great base recipe but also perfect as it is.

Good-for-anything “Meatballs”
I love to blend things up and make them into shapes! It is awesome to have a nutrition-packed ball that you can add to salads, sauces, pasta or whatever you love. There are many vegan meatball recipes but I can never go past the recipes by this amazing lady.
Mexican bowl of your dreams
So I think that this is one of my favourite meals of all time. I don’t like to compare dishes, I love them all for what they are and what they bring to the table! But this is truly great. It is made up of many components which means a bit of prep time… it is super great if you have some of it already prepared in the fridge.
DIY Cereal!
Now I just love this recipe because the idea of making cereal from scratch (that isn’t muesli) is just revolutionary to me! They have a great cinnamon sensation about them and go great on their own. I love having them with some fruit and coconut yogurt!

Savory Kale in a Sweet Curry
I love this dish because you can get in a heap of leafy greens! It’s also amazing because I love cashew. There is a store that I go to that sells organic cashews and they are huge! Perfect for this dish.

Stuffed Sweeties
I love a good sweet potato! This recipe takes two of the greatest things, Mexican food and potatoes, and it stuffs them together! You can also play around a lot with this recipe, adding in more spice are different veggies as you please.

Butterless, Buttery Goodness
This meal is mouthwatering! It is a little twist on the classic butter chicken, but not just a vegan substitute, it is easily a winner for anyone, no matter what they choose to eat. A little pro tip, boil or steam the tempeh for 10-15 minutes before cooking with it to be sure to remove the bitterness.

I hope that you try, and love, some of these great recipes! Also, don’t forget to some of your own experimentings, take bits and pieces from these recipes and make it your own! My favourite thing to do is use leftovers to add to a big mound of greens!
Kindly, Steph
